The Kennedy Center sponsors Student Academic Associations (SAAs) that fit the following criteria:

  1. The proposed SAA does not fit within the parameters of a BYUSA club.
  2. The proposed SAA is international in scope and is of interest to at least one academic program in the Kennedy Center.
  3. The proposed SAA is cross-regional, meaning that its scope is not limited to one country or region.
  4. The Kennedy Center does not need to find an adviser for the SAA.
