Scandinavian Student Academic Association

SSAA

The Scandinavian Student Academic Association is sponsored by the David M. Kennedy International Center and allows all students with an interest in the Scandinavian region to come together for culturally enriching activities. We represent the languages and cultures of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.

Our group supports the teaching of Scandinavian language and culture classes at the university by hosting activities and occasional film nights. The association also keeps students up-to-date about cultural activities in the broader community, where many people have Scandinavian heritage. Come join us for hygge and fun!
