Student Journal

Americana

Americana is an annual journal published by the American Studies Student Association at BYU. It publishes original, well-researched, and intellectually rigorous essays about any aspect of American life and culture. The journal will consider essays written from any disciplinary and theoretical perspective. Submissions are peer- and faculty-reviewed. Final decisions are made by the journal’s student editors in consultation with a faculty advisor.

During the 2023-2024 academic year, the Americana editors-in-chief are Sara Anderson (sarabean@student.byu.edu), Anya Searle (anyans@student.byu.edu), and Josh Topham (jmtopham@student.byu.edu).
