The Brandie R. Siegfried Global Women's Studies Scholarship

This endowed scholarship honors Dr. Brandie R. Siegfried’s resilience, research on women writers, and work on behalf of women’s causes by supporting a student whose academic work focuses in some significant way on women and who demonstrates financial need.
ELIGIBILITY
Any undergraduate student who will be enrolled full time at BYU for the coming academic year is eligible to apply for this scholarship. Preference will be given to Global Women’s Studies minors and students with financial need.
USE
Scholarship may be used for tuition, books, and associated academic expenses.
AMOUNT OF AWARD
The scholarship amount will vary based on the endowment payout.
LENGTH OF AWARD
One year (one-time deposit near the beginning of fall semester). This is a one-time award. Students may reapply to be considered each year.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
This scholarship will not be available in the 2025- 26 school year but will resume in 2026-27
