This endowed scholarship honors Dr. Brandie R. Siegfried’s resilience, research on women writers, and work on behalf of women’s causes by supporting a student whose academic work focuses in some significant way on women and who demonstrates financial need.
ELIGIBILITY
Any undergraduate student who will be enrolled full time at BYU for the coming academic year and has financial need is eligible to apply for this scholarship. Preference will be given to Global Women’s Studies minors.
USE
Scholarship may be used for tuition, books, and associated academic expenses.
AMOUNT OF AWARD
The scholarship amount will vary based on the endowment payout.
LENGTH OF AWARD
One year (one-time deposit near the beginning of fall semester). This is a one-time award. Students may reapply to be considered each year, but may only receive the award one time.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
March 1st for the upcoming academic year.
