Global Communications Leadership and Strategy in Europe

Dates: 30 April–22 May 2025 (BYU campus in Provo)
23 May–23 June 2025 (approx.)
Application Deadline: 22 November 2024

Students will study, interview, and meet with the communication leaders at businesses and non-profits who are building their organization’s global communications strategies. They will learn how organizations that are expanding across Europe set up their communications office, find and attract talent, and select agency partners. Along the way, students will investigate the historical roots of public relations and advertising strategy in the UK, so they can contrast the modern-day approach by professionals with the historical approach from which the field has arisen. The study abroad will conclude with students attending the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity where they learn from award-winning campaigns on public relations and advertising. The anchor cities for the program include London and Cannes, France. The BYU School of Communications sponsors this program.
