Dutch Design Week
Application Deadline: 11 September 2026
Design Weeks provide design practitioners with large venues to exhibit their work and discuss current design issues. Dutch Design Week (DDW), which takes place in Eindhoven, Netherlands, is the largest design event in northern Europe and one of the most vibrant as a channel for experimental designers. With more than 2,600 designers exhibiting work in over one hundred locations across the city, students will have plenty to see and do. The learning outcomes for this experience abroad include expanding your career path awareness; experiencing culturally significant museums, buildings, and sites; enjoying multidisciplinary interactions, personal exploration time, and one-on-one discussions with faculty; and increasing your design knowledge. We will travel to Antwerp to visit museums and stay in Amsterdam to experience the Rijks and Van Gogh museums, ride our bikes through the city, and eat Dutch pancakes.
