Considering a career in the Foreign Service? Wondering how it works when your spouse is also in the Foreign Service? Check out this Ask Me Anything event with Foreign Service Officers Jennifer and Ray Sudweeks.

Jennifer Sudweeks is a Consular Officer who recently served as the Director for Immigration and Visa Security at the National Security Council. She was the lead for visa policy and worked on issues such as the Gaza crisis. She has led visa operations at two of the largest consular sections in the world, Embassy Beijing and Embassy New Delhi.

Ray Sudweeks is a Political Officer with long experience in Asia. He recently led the team in Embassy Beijing focused on US-China relations and the Indo-Pacific region. Ray has worked on North Korea for over 10 years and has also led US-India energy cooperation from Embassy New Delhi as well as US engagement with the Pacific Islands.
