The winter 2024 Kennedy Center Student Research Fellows will present their research projects.

Benjamin Austin will present "Press and Pulpit: Mormonism’s Influence on Swedish Religious Freedom and Identity." Ben is a senior studying Interdisciplinary Humanities, with a focus on research in Scandinavian Studies.

McKay Bowman will present "A Pedagogy of Power: Interfaith Education as Nonviolent Resistance." McKay is a junior studying Philosophy and Political Science who explores how to make the world less violent through education and religious dialogue.

Claire Farnsworth will present “'I Hope You Dance': Dance and Jewish Resistance to Nazism." Claire is a first-year master’s student in Comparative Studies. She received a B.A. in European Studies from BYU with minors in German and World Dance. Claire’s research focuses on 20th century European history through the lens of cultural studies.
