Her Excellency Jovita Neliupšienė, Ambassador of the European Union to the United States, will speak on BYU campus.
Jovita Neliupšienė is the Ambassador of the European Union to the United States. Previous posts she has held in her native Lithuania include Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vice Minister of Economy and Innovation, and Chancellor and State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She has also held a number of diplomatic positions, including Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the EU. She holds degrees in political science, law, international relations, and social science.
