Sam Dearden is a Consulate-coned Foreign Service Officer at U.S. Embassy Bangkok. Previously he worked as program management coordinator at USAID’s Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance, and at USAID’s Office of Food for Peace as a Program Assistant. He received a BA in history from Brigham Young University, where he was the president of the Foreign Service Student Organization, and an MA in Modern British History from the University of Cambridge.
