His Excellency Francisco António Duarte Lopes, Ambassador of Portugal to the United States of America, will speak on BYU campus.
Ambassador Francisco António Duarte Lopes has served as permanent representative of Portugal to the United Nations since 2017. Prior to that, he served at Portugal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Lisbon, where he was promoted to the rank of Ambassador in 2015. Other positions have included Political Director and Director-General for European Affairs. He holds a law degree from the Faculdade de Direito de Lisboa.
