REQUIREMENTS

The Scandinavian minor requirements are currently being revised due to our move to the Kennedy Center. All accommodations for currently enrolled minors will be considered during the transition. The Scandinavian Studies minor is open to all undergraduate students enrolled at Brigham Young University and complements almost any major a student might choose.

Requirements for the minor consist of approximately 15 hours of course work, beginning with Scandinavian 321 and 340 courses. 6 hours of elective credit (approximately two courses) and a final course, Scandinavian 430, round out the requirements for the minor.

HOW CAN I DECLARE A MINOR?

Students who want to declare a Scandinavian Studies minor should visit the advisement center for their major. If you don't have a major yet, you can declare the Scandinavian Studies minor at the University Advisement Center (2500 WSC, ph# 801-422-3826, or e-mail university_advisement@byu.edu). To receive advice about the minor, contact Nate Kramer at nate_kramer@byu.edu or an advisor in Kennedy Center Advisement (273 HRCB, ph# 801-422-3548, or e-mail kennedy_advisement@byu.edu).

To learn more about the minor, see the Scandinavian Studies minor requirements.
