Post-Bachelor Degree? Where? In what field?

Yes. University of Aberdeen. MLitt Museum Studies

How did your Asian Studies degree at BYU connect you to your career goals?

I wanted to work in a museum with an Asian collection.

Have you had the opportunity to work internationally?

No. But I did go to grad school in Scotland. My Asian Studies degree gave me the research skills to do my grad work. I wrote papers concentrating on museum topics connected to Asia when I could.

What are specific competencies or skills you gained in the Asian Studies program that are applicable to your professional life and set you apart from others?

Chinese language skills, analytical skills, critical thinking skills, research skills, problem solving skills.

What do you wish you had known as an Asian Studies student at BYU? What advice would you share with current students of Asian Studies?

That you really really can't get a job with just an Asian Studies degree. If you do an Asian Studies degree, have a plan on what to do with it. It is also a very niche area of study and most jobs aren't interested in it. So be prepared to job hunt for a long time. To do this degree, you need to have a passion for it. It is with that passion that you can endure the degree and the struggle with finding a job.
