On Friday, the PKP took us on a boat trip down the Thames river. On a whim, my friends and I hopped off at Greenwich and found the best fish and chips, the largest mural in Europe at the painted hall in the Old Naval Hall (wouldn’t that be a place for a formal hall!), and the nerdiest observatory in the world. Greenwich is London’s best kept secret. I couldn’t help but imagine what it would have been like to live in Greenwich and take part in the activities at the Naval College or to hop onto a boat from Greenwich.
From Greenwich we went to Borough Market. There are so many free samples of food from Olives to Sourdough bread to pretzels to goat ice cream. Be jealous of the diversity of ethnic foods we got to sample. More…
