The Malawi International Development Internship works with the School of Agriculture for Family Independence (SAFI) and Nu Skin Corporation in a rural village in Malawi. Students live at SAFI in dorms for the entire duration of the three months. Students from all majors have the opportunity to work on individualized research projects that are in conjunction with their major or minor, with the assistance of a university faculty mentor and a SAFI Staff member. This gives students the rare opportunity to participate in undergraduate research, as well as publications and conferences.
