Lola Ogunbote is a Nigerian-born Brit whose life and leadership are rooted in her faith in Jesus Christ and a deep commitment to uplifting women and girls through sport. After qualifying as a UK Attorney, she transitioned into soccer in 2016, guided by prayer and a desire to align her skills with God’s purposes, and has since led professional men’s and women’s teams across multiple continents with integrity, humility, and compassion. Lola currently serves as Executive Director of Goals for Girls, a US-based non-profit using football to build confidence and empower girls in their communities. In 2021, she made history as the first Head of Women’s Football at Burnley Football Club (Premier League). Her work reflects her belief that identity and worth are found not in titles or outcomes, but in one’s relationship with Jesus Christ.
