Geological Field Methods, Geological Mapping, and Geologic Writing is the “capstone” course for the BS degree in geology. To be successful in this course, students are expected to draw on the knowledge obtained from all of their geology classes. Students will use field observations and mapping to produce a synthesis report on the geologic history of the field area.
