During the summer of 2020, over a hundred thousand Black Lives Matter demonstrations took place in the United States; internationally, there were comparable numbers, with BLM demonstrations in more than sixty countries across six continents.
On February 18th at 12 p.m. MST, BYU Italian professor Marie Orton will be discussing the Italian case and how the BLM demonstrations merged with racial justice issues particular to that national context and history.
