Paul Adams, the current Area Head of Photography at BYU, will discuss his experience photographing the last known matriarch speakers of multiple endangered North American languages. Adams, and former student Jordan Layton, captured their subjects’ portraits on tintype metal plates, one of the most permanent and archival kind of prints.
