This program is open to any qualifying student who has an interest in learning more about the legislative and policy making process. To be considered, students must have a minimum 2.7 GPA and be juniors or seniors in good Honor Code and academic standing.
Legislature interns must be available to work full-time (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and some evenings from 4 January through 5 March, 2021. All students will receive from five to fourteen political science credits. Up to three internship credits from other disciplines can be included in the total with the permission of that department. Every participating student also receives a $2,775 stipend for their work during the 45-day session.
The application deadline has been extended, and is open until filled.
