Join us for the next Café Europa!
The US and Europe have cooperated with each other economically, militarily, and politically for 75 years and frequently have acted according to shared interests with respect to the rest of the world. However, recent years have seen widening gaps between US and European policy preferences and a decreasing willingness to cooperate. Listen as three political scientists discuss how issues like the Afghan pullout, the ongoing Ukraine conflict, pandemic travel restrictions, and Brexit are shaping the future of trans-Atlantic ties.
Featuring Celeste Beesley, Scott Cooper, and Joel Selway of the BYU Political Science department.
