Karen Carter specializes in the history of France and of European religions, and her publications include Creating Catholics: Catechism and Primary Education in Early Modern France.
Christopher Hodson specializes in colonial and Atlantic history, with an emphasis on the early modern French empire, comparative imperialism, and early modern diasporas, and his first book was the Acadian Diaspora: An Eighteenth-Century History.
Matthew Mason specializes in the history of slavery, early America, and Britain, and he has written Slavery and Politics in the Early American Republic and Apostle of Union: A Political Biography of Edward Everett.
