On the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, we pause to honor the sacrifices of those who participated in this epic event, to consider its literary, artistic, and historic dimensions, and to discuss the heritage of The Great War. How has this “war to end all wars” impacted the political, social, and economic development of Europe, and how has this lived on in the European cultural imaginary?
Attendees are encouraged to visit the exhibition, “For Home and Country: Posters and Propaganda from the Great War,” currently on display at the BYU Museum of Art.
