Paul A. “Chip” Yost will provide an overview of his position as director of Government and International Affairs for Westinghouse and describe his career path, provide career advice, and discuss life lessons.
Yost currently is responsible for Congressional relations for Westinghouse, working closely with the Department of Energy. In addition, he is founder of the Homeport Group, a government affairs company; served as chief of staff to the late Senator Robert F. Bennett; was a political appointee in President George H.W. Bush’s administration; and served as a special assistant to the assistant secretary of economic policy at the Department of Treasury. His career began as a legislative assistant for two members of Congress from the State of Utah. Yost received a BA in communications from Brigham Young University and an MPA from George Mason University.
