Dennis Jett is a professor of international affairs at Pennsylvania State University. A former career diplomat, Jett served twenty-eight years in the Department of State in a wide range of positions including as Ambassador to Peru and Mozambique, on the National Security Council, and in Argentina, Israel, Malawi, and Liberia. He is the author of four books and has a PhD in international relations from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa.
