K´ICHE´-MAYAN LANGUAGE
FALL 2019 COURSE
In this 4-credit-hour course, you will receive a linguistic introduction to the world of the Maya, ancient and contemporary. Whether you are interested in historical linguistics, Colonial literature (Popol Wuj), archaeology, social anthropology, agriculture, Latin American Studies, or international development, this course will advance your understanding of indigenous Latin America.
FLAS funding is available for undergraduate and graduate students. These scholarships provide tuition and stipend money for students who plan to use their language skills in their future academic and career goals.
