Nikki Eberhardt (MA ’01) has been named the David M. Kennedy Center Honored Alumna for 2021. She will give the honored alumni lecture on “Leveraging Disruptive Innovation to Tackle Intractable Global Challenges.”
Eberhardt credits her parents for her drive to enact social change and to act upon the blessings and opportunities she has been given. Eberhardt works to give under-resourced communities the capacity to empower themselves. She focuses primarily on edtech, executive leadership, and scalable social impact. Eberhardt is a professor of business at Minerva University, an innovative institution focused on utilizing technology to drive change. She teaches startup finance, marketing, and social entrepreneurship. Eberhardt is on Delta Air Lines’ corporate Global Talent Team to craft leadership development and mentor-culture strategies. Eberhardt is an executive team member of various organizations, including EVP Impact eThree, EVP Partnerships for UCO, and talent for Global Citizen. She was the co-founder and president of the United Nations Women Chapter in Utah. She received an MBA from Oxford University and a PhD from the University of Utah. She and her husband, Andrew, have three children.
