Flávia Biroli from the Department of Political Science at the University of Brasilia and author of Gênero e Desigualdades: Limites da Democracia no Brasil.
Wendy Hunter from the Department of Government at the University of Texas at Austin and author of The Transformation of the Workers’ Party in Brazil, 1989–2009 and Eroding Military Influence in Brazil: Politicians against Soldiers.
Andrew Janusz from the Department of Political Science at University of Florida who is currently working on a book titled Race and Political Representation in Brazil.
