The Fund for American Studies is currently accepting applications for their Spring 2021 Capital Semester Program to be held in-person in Washington, D.C. from 13 January to 4 May.
Students seeking to grow as civic-minded leaders and explore careers in public service, policy, politics, or the nonprofit sector will gain the professional experience needed to break into these competitive fields through this internship program.
The program offers guaranteed internship placement, 12 academic credits, convenient housing, and plenty of opportunities for networking and professional development. Internship placements will follow the procedures of each individual organization, with a combination of in-person and remote work. Guest lectures, briefings, networking, and other special events will be a combination of virtual and onsite sessions based on city/local guidance.
Students who apply by the early deadline of 15 October will receive priority scholarship consideration.
Applications will be accepted until the final deadline of 16 November.
