Quinn Mecham’s research interests focus on the political mobilization in the Islamic world, including elections, protest, and political violence. Mecham also focuses on political participation in authoritarian regimes. He has written extensively on the Arab world and on Turkey. His current project is on the behavior of Islamist political parties in the Middle East and Asia.
