Colonel Gregory A. Weisler is on his second tour at the Pentagon with the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence, Warfighter Support Directorate, as the branch chief of support to the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM). Previously, Weisler served as supervisor of the team supporting U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). He has held positions with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI)-NIM Africa and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). The recipient of numerous medals and commendations, he served for over thirty years in the Army, beginning as a private in the infantry. Recently, he received an MS in strategic studies from the Army War College nonresident program. In addition to a BA in business administration, Weisler received an MA in international relations from Baylor University and an MS in political science from Emory University. He and the former Laurie Anne Hooper are the parents of two daughters.
