Colonel Gregory A. Weisler recently completed a tour in the Pentagon with the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence, Warfighter Support Directorate, supervising the team supporting U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Previously, Weisler led the Joint Staff Support Division (Defense Intelligence Agency) providing intelligence support to the Pakistan-Afghanistan Coordination Cell, J5-Plans and Policy Directorate of the Joint Staff, Pentagon. The recipient of numerous medals and commendations, he served for over twenty-nine years in the Army, beginning as a private in the infantry. Currently, he is enrolled in the Army War College nonresident program, and in addition to a BA in business administration, Weisler received an MA in international relations from Baylor University and an MS in political science from Emory University. He and the former Laurie Anne Hooper are the parents of two daughters.
