Design weeks are a major way design practitioners show their work and discuss important issues. Dutch Design Week (DDW) which takes place in Eindhoven, is the largest design event in northern Europe and one of the most vibrant as a channel for experimental designers. With more than 2,600 designers exhibiting work in over one hundred locations across the city, students will have plenty to see and do. This study abroad focuses on activities, workshops and research efforts at DDW. A short amount of time will be spent in Amsterdam to visit the Rijks, Van Gogh and Stedelijk museums, a few notable design stores and eat Dutch pancakes.
