2017 North America Google Public Policy Summer Fellowship

The Google Policy Fellowship program offers undergraduate, graduate, and law students interested in Internet and technology policy the opportunity to spend the summer contributing to the public dialogue on these issues, and exploring future academic and professional interests. Fellows will have the opportunity to work at public interest organizations at the forefront of debates on broadband and access policy, content regulation, copyright and creativity, consumer privacy, open government, government surveillance, data security, data innovation, free expression, and more.

Fellows will be assigned a lead mentor at their host organizations and will have the opportunity to work with several senior staff members over the course of the summer. Fellows will be expected to make substantive contributions to the work of their organization.

Harvard Business School 2+2 Program

Learn about the 2+2 program Friday, 13 January at 12:30 in the Varsity Theatre. Lunch will be provided.

The 2+2 Program is a deferred admission process for current students, either in college or full-time masters programs. It is comprised of at least two years of professional work experience followed by two years in the HBS MBA Program.

Rangel Summer Enrichment Program

Application deadline: Thursday, 2 February 2017

The Rangel International Affairs Summer Enrichment Program is a six-week program at Howard University that helps prepare undergraduate students for careers in international affairs. It includes two for-credit academic courses, a professional writing seminar, visits, meetings with foreign affairs professionals in a wide range of government and nongovernmental organizations, and professional development activities. It pays for tuition, room, board, and transportation and provides a stipend. The program will run 19–29 June 2017.

Eligibility requirements
•    U.S. citizenship
•    A comprehensive GPA of at least 3.2
•    Full-time undergraduate student status
•    Sophomore or above

The program encourages applications from members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service and those with financial need. Applicants with any undergraduate major are welcome to apply.
