Socio-Economic Development in Africa: Challenges & Opportunities

The Southern Utah University Global Engagement Center is pleased to announce the call for proposals for its 3rd annual Global Engagement Academic Conference.  This year’s conference will be held Friday, 8 February 2013 on the SUU campus in Cedar City, Utah. The conference will focus on various dimensions of socio-economic development on the continent with the intent to foster discussions that lead to actions resulting in positive change.  Selected sessions will cover a wide range of topics, cultures, and geographic regions. Academics, activists, artists, and undergraduate and graduate students alike are encouraged to submit session proposals.

The 11th Annual Hawaii International Conference on Arts and Humanities will be held from Friday, 11 to Monday, 14 January 2013 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu, Hawaii on the island of Oahu, often nicknamed “the gathering place.” The 2013 Hawaii International Conference on Arts and Humanities will once again be the gathering place for academicians and professionals from arts and humanities related fields from all over the world.
