Roman ruins, medieval streets, baroque churches, imperial palaces, iconic modernism, and pastries galore: Vienna is an experiential overload. This program also travels into the German Alps to witness the world-famous, once-in-a-decade Oberammergau Passion Play, a dramatic re-enactment of the last week of Christ’s life. Cosponsored by the Department of German and Russian and the Department of Theatre and Media Arts, Vienna Study Abroad 2020 is tailored to those without any German experience, as well as to German majors and minors. You can potentially fulfill two GE requirements on this program (Civilization II and Arts), and there will also be work opportunities for qualified students.
