Anna Ortiz has had experience with numerous nonprofit organizations as a volunteer, employee, and consultant, which has involved her with projects across five continents. Ortiz has a particular interest in community development, education, entrepreneurship, and micro-franchise/micro-savings programs. She served in the Spain Barcelona Mission (2001–03) for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and received a BA in comparative literature (2005) and an MPA in nonprofit management and international development (2009) from Brigham Young University.
Lesa Snyder was raised in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada. Snyder worked for three years as an advisor at BYU with Liberal Arts Advisement and Careers and is excited about joining the advising team at the Kennedy Center. She loves working with college students and connecting them with experiences that help them gain competencies and confidence in their educational, career and life journeys. Snyder received a BS in marriage, family, and human development from Brigham Young University (2004) and an MS in academic advising from Kansas State University (2017). She is the happy mother of five beautiful children and loves playing and going on adventures with them. She also enjoys the outdoors, hiking, biking, running, reading, sewing, and playing racquetball.
