World Family Policy Center

In order to "provide balanced, pro-family input and effectively educate the United Nations System on moral, religious and other value-based issues," the J. Reuben Clark School of Law and the David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies, in partnership with the School of Family Life at Brigham Young University, established the World Family Policy Center (WFPC, formerly NGO Family Voice). The WFPC facilitates international policy debate by serving

1) as an exchange point for the discussion and evaluation of emerging international legal norms

2) as an active participant in the examination, adoption, and implementation of UN norms

The WFPC pursues these objectives by various means, including a site on the World Wide Web, consistent attendance and participation in major UN conferences, cooperation with like-minded organizations, and the sponsorship of significant world-wide conferences on family policy.

See selected transcripts of the annual World Family Policy Forum (WFPF) 2000 or visit their web site for more information on the WFPC and their projects.
