Do you need to fulfill GE requirements in Arts, Letters, or Civilization? Come complete them during summer term in the ideal setting: Paris, the City of Light! For centuries, Paris has been at the center of important developments in history, literature, science, culture, and the arts. The city is a treasure trove of education and experiences with its world-renowned museums (the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay), its monuments (Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe), and its beautiful urban landscape of boulevards, cafés, bridges, and parks. A variety of course offerings allow you to learn about French, European, and Western culture in one of the world’s great cities, all while fulfilling BYU GE requirements. No French language instruction is required. This program is designed for students with a love of literature, history, and the arts and who would like an in-depth experience with Paris, its museums, and monuments, but who may not have studied French or have the time, funds, or interest to commit to a longer program during the academic year.
