The Paris program focuses on the language, civilization, and culture of France, with BYU courses taught at the LDS Institute building in the historic Marais district in the center of Paris. Living with host families, you will be able to enhance your language skills and cultural knowledge through daily interaction and family meals. While studying in the French capital, you will visit Le Louvre, Le Musée d’Orsay, and many other important sites. Classes such as director Marc Olivier’s photography course and Francophone culture course will take you out of the traditional classroom and into the city for an experience unlike anything that would be possible on campus. An excursion to London will give you a sense of a city that has served historically as both an inspiration and rival to Paris.
