Welcome to Krakow, Poland—home to many an important scientist, artist, composer, and poet, including Copernicus and Chopin. Once Poland’s capital, it now stands as an important cultural and historical center that largely escaped the destruction of World War II. In addition to its architectural splendor, Krakow has a vibrant economy that attracts businesses and investors. Students interested in pursuing an internship in Krakow have many fields from which to choose, including business administration (finance, HR, marketing, sales, IT, etc.), fine arts, social work, medicine, retail, and manufacturing. Owing to its abundance of institutions of higher education, Krakow has the feel of a university town, which contributes to a wonderful sense of energy and excitement. Students on the program can choose to pursue an internship in English or Polish; those wanting to enroll in advanced Polish language classes may do so and receive BYU credit.
