Emma Sky works at Yale’s World Fellows Program and is the author of Unraveling: High Hopes and Missed Opportunities in Iraq. Sky has advised the commanding general of U.S. forces in Iraq, the commander of NATO’s International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan, and the U.S. security coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process. She has worked in the Palestinian territories managing projects to develop Palestinian institutions and to promote coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians. Sky is an officer of the British Empire.
