Leonard Greenspoon is the Klutznick Chair in Jewish Civilization at Creighton University, where he is also professor of classical and Near Eastern studies and of theology. Currently, Greenspoon is working on a commentary of the Book of Joshua for the Jewish Publication Society of America and has recently completed articles on the Bible in comic strips, Jewish interpretations of the Apocrypha, and the use of Greek Scripture by New Testament authors. Greenspoon has edited or written more than two dozen books on topics ranging from ancient manuscripts to popular culture and has completed the first book-length study of Jewish Bible translations.
